Works | Beijing 2013-2014

During these first two years post graduation from art school, I took on office jobs whilst keeping my painting practice in my spare time. I was also able to travel around Europe and other parts of the world with my work, so I initiated a small project called "The Landscape of Friends". I suppose I was young, wild, and lonely inside, though very social outside.

These portaits were based on people I knew from work, study, or personal connection. Some I may have only met a few times, and then never spoke with again, some I would spend a few days per week chatting, drinking, and partying with.
